Mladen Petrov was born in Sofia.
He has been working as an accompanist in the ensemble ROSNA KITKA since 1995.
Musical designer and author of the music of many dances from the repertoire of the ensemble, among which are "Shopski zaigravki", "Pirinki", "Hopni mi, tropni", "Lazarki" and others.
He works as a tutor-accompanist in 46 Konstantin Fotinov Primary School.
